He handled registration at monthly meetings for a professional group and was frustrated by the registration process. Using clipboards to sign in and “Hello” badges with markers was messy and the handwriting impossible to read. Using a single computer to register attendees created a bottleneck.
He could not find an affordable registration and name badge printer, so he invented one.
